The Market Street Bakery has again asked our guild to display our small quilts and table toppers at their shop in June and July.

The Bakery is located just down the street from Sisters Quilt Shop and features many wonderful baked goods and beverages. The owner likes to display works from various artists on her walls and she tells me that the quilts are the very favorite displays for herself, her staff and the customers.
Because the wall space is limited at the Bakery, we generally display quilts no larger than about 36×36”. Smaller sizes, art quilts and table runners work wonderfully too.
Kathy B. will be collecting the quilts at the May membership meeting and will have registration slips available at that meeting. You can also download registration slips here.
We will be hanging the quilts around 2 PM on June 1 at the Bakery. The takedown day will be July 31 at the same time so you will have your quilts back in time for the Fair if you are planning on displaying there. Kathy will return any quilts not picked up at the Bakery July 31 at the August membership meeting.

Many hands make light work as we often say, so please plan to come by on June 1 and/or July 31 to help out. Kathy will bring a ladder, push tacks and hammer but we need people to help organize where the quilts will go and hand them to the ladder person. No heavy lifting is involved.

You can even mark your quilts for sale and the staff will collect the money. Please contact Kathy B. to volunteer or if you have any questions.
