UPDATE: All activities and meetings for the remainder of the month of March and for the entire month of April are cancelled.
We will attempt to reschedule the Stay-Treat for later in the year. Hold on to those potluck blocks – we’ll still have a drawing for them when we meet next time!
We are all concerned about the COVID-19 (“corona”) virus and how it will affect ourselves, our friends and our loved ones.
On March 14, The Daily Chronicle reported
Lewis County senior centers will close to the public until further notice in an effort to protect senior citizens from the COVID-19 outbreak, according to a post on the nonprofit Lewis County Seniors Facebook page.http://www.chronline.com/community/lewis-county-senior-centers-close-due-to-covid–emergency/article_654d4286-666e-11ea-a4dd-cb7e7ed67b3f.html
Your RDQG Board is tentatively planning to cancel the April 14 Spring Potluck. If the closure order has not been lifted by the time the Board meets on March 24, we will definitely cancel the April 14 meeting.
All members will be notified via email and the cancellation will be announced here on our website.
Please continue to take reasonable precautions with your health and that of those around you.
