On March 7th Sam Hunter, of Hunter’s Design Studio, visited and held our hands to help us work on her pattern, Dingbats Redux!.

“Dingbats Redux! is a 54’’ x 72’’ modern block-based quilt with NO curved or set-in piecing. Two sizes of blocks are set to sparkle in the background. The illustrated instructions guide you through all straight line piecing to make this stunning retro-inspired quilt.” 

The class was comfortably full, and everyone got at least one of the ‘Dingbats’ completed by the end of the day.

As usual, Sam was delightful and ever-so-patient, sharing tips and tricks to help us be successful. She even shared some wisdom from her grandmother! It’s always a good time when Sam comes to visit, it’s just too bad that she lives so far away and we only get to see her once a year.
